Technical Sales Engineer

As the Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll need to:

  • Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions
  • Implement initiatives to increase conversion and velocity of our pipeline
  • Work alongside with our Operations team to understand the industry
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
  • Calculate client quotations and administer client account
  • Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 3+ years of technology/manufacturing related sales or business development experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Work experience in B2B technical sales, acquiring new accounts Prior experience influencing C-level executives
  • Start-up experience preferable
