Welcome to the very first edition of our internal newsletter! I’m super excited to kick this off and take a moment to reflect on our journey so far, talk about what’s driving us forward, and share a glimpse of what’s ahead.

The Big Picture
Karkhana.io started with a simple but bold idea: to transform manufacturing. We wanted to make it smarter, faster, and more customer-focused. Over the past three years, we’ve worked hard to build something special-an ecosystem that bridges cutting-edge demand with India’s incredible manufacturing potential. We’ve shown that our asset-light model works, delivering precision and scale. Now, we’re gearing up for what’s next, and let me tell you, it’s going to be big.

We’re doubling down on two key areas: expanding our role in electronics manufacturing for India’s booming market and becoming a go-to partner for precision manufacturing in the US and Germany. It’s a lot to aim for, but I know we’ve got the talent, energy, and creativity to make it happen.

Travel to Almaty City in Kazakhstan

Here is the story of my first international trip to Almaty City in Kazakhstan. Almaty in Kazakhstan is a truly unique city – a bustling urban metropolis surrounded by the most gorgeous mountains on all sides. It’s intense scenic beauty, coupled with the fact that Kazakhstan offers visa-free entry to Indians, makes it ideal for the perfect city break. My husband and I started our journey from Bengaluru to Almaty city via Delhi. Its just 3 hours flight from Delhi. We are excited to explore Kazakhstan for next one week.

The Kazakh word alma (алма) means “apple”. The name of the city of Almaty, is derived from alma and translates to “place of apples&”. The city is known as an apple city and is rich with many different species of wild apples. It's known for its rich history, natural beauty, and thriving arts scene.
It’s Snowing!!
Yey! We got to witness the first snowfall experience in Almaty on the same day of arrival.
It was truly Blissful.

Here are the some of the main attractions that we visited during the trip:

1. Zenkov’s Cathedral: The Cathedral is located in Panfilov Park and is made of wood but without nails. It stands 56 meters tall and is claimed to be the second tallest wooden church in the world.

2. Kaindy Lake: The lake appeared due to an earthquake in 1911. When we went lake was almost frozen. The 12 km offroad ride was thrilling.

3. Kolsai Lake: The Kolasi lakes are the system of three lakes in the northern Tien Shan region, on the Kolsai river. Even though its very cold down there, its natural beauty was stunning.

4. Charyn Canyon: It is a 154 km long canyon along the Charyn River. It is a natural monument made up of sedimentary rocks that are about 12 million years old.

5. Shymbulak Ski Resort: It is the largest ski resort in Central Asia. It is located in the upper part of the Medeu Valley, at an elevation of 3,200 metres above sea level. The cable car ride to the top was one of the best experiences we had.

We also explored joyful night life of Almaty on Arbat Street where people gather in the evenings and chill! There will be live music and dance performances as well.

Last but not the least, Shopping! Green Bazar is one of the famous local markets where we bought things to our loved ones, also lots of Chocolates from Rakhat Chocolate factory.

That is it! Time to say bye bye to this beautiful city. We truly had a very good time exploring Kazakhstan!.

Birthdays are always special, but there’s something uniquely heartwarming about a child’s first birthday. Recently, I had the privilege of attending my colleague’s beautiful daughter’s first birthday celebration. It was an unforgettable day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

The party was nothing short of magical. From the moment I entered the venue, I was greeted by an air of enthusiasm and joy. The decorations were vibrant, with pastel balloons and floral arrangements creating a fairy-tale-like atmosphere. But what truly stole the show was the little birthday girl herself. Dressed in an adorable outfit with a tiny tiara, she was the epitome of sweetness and grace.
What amazed me most was how cooperative she was throughout the entire celebration. Babies can often get overwhelmed in large gatherings, but not this little angel. She greeted everyone with her innocent smiles and even posed patiently for pictures with her doting parents, friends, and family. Her calm demeanor and cheerful presence added a special charm to the occasion.

The party was not just a visual delight but also a culinary treat. The birthday meal was an absolute feast! From savory starters to decadent desserts, every dish was prepared with care and tasted divine. The highlight, of course, was the stunning birthday cake – a beautifully crafted masterpiece that was as delicious as it was lovely.

As I watched the family cut the cake amidst a chorus of “Happy Birthday,” I couldn’t help but feel grateful to be a part of such a joyous milestone. It wasn’t just a celebration of the little one’s first year but also a testament to the love and dedication of her parents and family.

This beautiful evening reminded me of the simple joys of life – celebrating milestones, cherishing loved ones, and creating memories that last a lifetime. To my colleague and their wonderful family, thank you for letting us be a part of this momentous day. And to the little angel who turned one, may your journey through life be as beautiful and bright as your first birthday celebration!
