We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr Quality Assurance Manager with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will not only possess a strong background in quality assurance but will also have exceptional team-leading skills. As a Head of Quality Control, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, leading a team of quality professionals, and applying advanced knowledge of quality methodologies
Role & responsibilities
Quality Assurance Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive quality assurance programs within the manufacturing environment.
- Should have knowledge of ISO standards and should have conducted the ISO audits
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks, ensuring efficient and effective team performance.
Advanced Quality Methodologies:
- Apply advanced knowledge in PPAP, Risk Management, DFMEA, APQP, DFQ, Design Transfer, Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Lean Methodologies, 5-Why, and Problem Solving techniques.
Inspection and Testing:
- Oversee and conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance overall product quality.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Manage and maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance activities.
- Generate comprehensive reports on quality metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Supplier Quality Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain high-quality standards for incoming materials.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving:
- Utilize advanced root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify and address quality issues promptly.
Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing personnel to enhance their understanding of quality standards and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Proven team-leading skills, with experience in managing and mentoring a quality assurance team
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with PPAP, Risk Management, DFMEA, APQP, DFQ, Design Transfer, Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Lean Methodologies, 5-Why, and Problem Solving techniques
- Experience in conducting inspections, testing, and implementing corrective actions
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
