Automated Costing Engine (ACE) by Karkhana.io is an innovative digital tool designed to revolutionize the costing process in the manufacturing industry. Leveraging advanced AI and ML algorithms, ACE provides instant and accurate cost estimates for manufacturing components by simply uploading CAD files. It offers detailed cost breakdowns, manufacturing recommendations, and supports a wide range of materials, helping suppliers optimize their operations and improve efficiency. ACE aims to simplify and standardize costing, reducing the time and effort traditionally required, and enabling suppliers to make informed decisions quickly.

Roles & responsibilities

1. Prepare Should Costing for CNC Milling and CNC Turning.
2. Develop and maintain Costing Algorithms and Templates using Google Sheets.
3. Understanding user requirements and updating databases accordingly.
4. Able to understand and map CAD Features and CNC Machining Operations.
5. Monitor the performance of the costing engine and identify areas for improvement.
6. Engage with suppliers to gather feedback and validate costing accuracy.
7. Conduct user interviews to understand needs and adjust parameters as needed.
8. Create detailed documentation for the costing engine’s features and updates.
9. Generate reports on costing accuracy, user feedback, and areas for improvement.

What Are We Looking For

1. Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in CNC Machining or a Diploma Training degree in CNC Machining.
3. Experience in CAD/CAM Softwares.
4. In depth knowledge of CNC Machining processes and industry trends.
5. Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and strong documentation skills.
6. Knowledge of other manufacturing processes like Sheet Metal & Casting is a plus.
