Job Description:

1. Sourcing & Procurement – Lead the sourcing mandate for the entire program. Work closely Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for all materials required as part of the BOM. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers for a stable and cost-effective supply chain. Monitor market trends and industry developments to control procurement decisions.
2. Supply Chain Management – Manage overall Logistics, manufacturing and quality control in all parts of the supply chain. Implement inventory management strategies to maintain adequate stock and reduce excess inventory. Create robust systems to monitor and audit mechanism to have zero risk supply chain.
3. Manufacturing Management : Work closely with EMS partners to ensure manufacturing is done as per customer specifications.
4. Cost/Risk Management – Own the P&L of the program and develop cost saving strategies without compromising product and service quality. Work on localisation strategies to optimize cost across the supply chain.Coordinates all risks and requirements of the project through planning, controlling, integrating all deliverables. Provides periodic project updates of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas.
5. Compliance – Ensure compliance across all stakeholders with regard to processes & regulatory policies to ensure risk free operations
6. Effective Communication with internal stakeholders. Management information for import status, issues and potential risks.

Requirements

1. B.E / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics with MBA in supply chain management (preferred)
2. 8-12 years of experience in Program Management
3. Team management experience required
